By being transparent and accountable, Casa Ioana is stating that it wants to be successful, fundraise effectively and seen to spend its money well. In Romania, charities are not well understood resulting in poor funding, but if Casa Ioana is accountable, we think we will perform better and be trusted.
We believe that out 2008 Annual Report would score an impressive 100% for transparency and accountability if judged on the guidelines laid down by “intelligent giving”. The report will be available on the website in June.
